Fedor Dostoevsky is a famous Russian author, who lived in 19th sentury. He aws born in Moscow November, 11, 1821.
Dostoevsky turned to writing as a profession after a brief military career, puplishing his firt novel POOR FOLK in 1846. In 1849 he was arrested for his participation in a political group and sentenced to proson in Siberia for four years. Later he wrote that here, in prison, he recognized Russian soul. His novels explored the psychology and moral obligations of modern man, and he is famous for creating the "underground hero", a protagonist aliented from society and in seach of redemtion.
Dostoevsky wrote the classic novels CRIME and PUNISHMENT (1866), THE BROTHERS KARAMAZOV (1880). I would like to tell about his book IDIOT. the hero of the novel is Prince Myshkin, a kind od modern Christ. He is a good man who attempts to live in a corrupt society, and it is uncertain whether he succeeds or not, since ne leaves the pages of the novel with the world about him worse than when he entered.
I like Fedor Dostoevsky bacause he is creative other and wrote about a soul.

That is very interesting, usually when we tell about an author from our country. Actually, If you can tell us about your culture, it will be very good for us to know more about other countries.
It would be really interesting to learn about your culture. It might help us understand Dostoevsky as well.
